Privacy Policy

Porta Productions is a real estate and brand media studio in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas, owned and operated by Ariel Porta. This page explains what information we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
The short version: we collect what we need to answer you, shoot your property and get paid. We do not sell your information to anyone.
What we collect

How we collect it
- You tell us — the contact form on this site, email, text message, phone, or a direct message on Instagram or Facebook.
- Our booking system — orders placed through our online ordering platform.
- Automatically — Google Analytics records anonymous usage of this website through cookies.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only receive what they need to do their job:
- Netlify — hosts this website and receives contact form submissions.
- Google Analytics — anonymous website usage statistics.
- Our booking and delivery platform — orders, invoices and the delivery of finished media.
- Payment processors — to take payment. They handle card details directly; we do not.
- Google Workspace — email and calendar.
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook) — if you message us there, that conversation lives on Meta's platform under their privacy policy as well as this one.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Messaging us on Instagram or Facebook
If you send us a direct message, we read it and reply. We use Meta's official business tools to keep track of conversations so that nothing goes unanswered.
We do not send unsolicited messages. We only reply to people who have contacted us first, and only about the work they asked about. We do not use message content for advertising and we do not pass it to anyone outside the providers listed above.
You can stop the conversation at any time by telling us so, or by blocking the account.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number, or you text our business line at (469) 436-2876, we may reply by text about your enquiry, your booking or your finished media.
- We never share or sell mobile numbers. Mobile phone numbers collected for SMS, and consent to receive SMS, are not shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Numbers are shared only with the messaging provider that delivers the message on our behalf, and only so the message can be sent.
- Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on your project. Most clients receive between two and ten messages per booking, typically around scheduling and delivery. We do not send recurring marketing texts on this line.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (469) 436-2876. Opting out of texts does not affect your booking; we will use email or phone instead.
- Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We only text people who contacted us first, and only about the work they asked about. We do not buy, rent or import phone number lists.
Your property and your images
Finished photos and video are delivered to the client who commissioned them, under the licence agreed for that job.
We may show finished work in our own portfolio — this website, our social accounts and marketing materials. If you would rather we did not use images of your property or your listing, tell us and we will not. Ask before, during or after the shoot; there is no deadline on that request.
Aerial footage is captured under FAA Part 107 rules. We do not deliberately film neighbouring properties or identifiable people, and we will remove anything you flag.
Cookies
This site uses cookies for Google Analytics only. There is no advertising tracking on this website. Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings, and the site works normally without them.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that never became a job — kept while there is a reasonable chance of working together, then deleted.
- Client and project records — kept while you are a client and for as long afterwards as tax and accounting rules require.
- Access details such as gate and lockbox codes — used for the shoot and not retained.
- Finished media — archived so we can re-supply a client who loses a file.
Your choices
You can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your information, where we are not required to keep it;
- stop using images of your property in our marketing;
- stop contacting you.
Email ariel@portaproductions.com and we will deal with it. There is no form to fill in.
Texas residents, and residents of other states with privacy laws, have these rights under those laws. We extend them to everyone regardless of where you live, because keeping two standards is more work than keeping one.
Security
This site is served over HTTPS. Business accounts are protected with strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication where the provider offers it. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — if something happens that affects your information, we will tell you.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of the page. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the current version.
